Ethics & Equity: Moving Psychiatry Forward
As psychiatrists, we strive to treat our patients in an ethical and respectful manner.  We are also aware that inequity and healthcare disparities affect many of the patients we treat.  This meeting will help psychiatrists to build their knowledge base in the intersecting areas of ethics and equity so they will be better equipped to provide the best care possible for the patients they treat.

About Chocolate Tasting

Attendees will recieve an assortment of chocolates in their Virtual Experience Box that will be used for the virtual group tasting.

OUR SHOP - We are a woman owned artisan chocolate shop located in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago.  Our chocolates, confections, pastries and ice cream are handcrafted and inspired by our exotic South Asian heritage.  All of our creations are made in small batches to ensure that you are melting into only the freshest and most aromatic ingredients.

CHEF UZMA SHARIF came from humble beginnings.  Being raised by a working single mother, she started in the kitchen at an early age.  Her Grandfather was a renowned pastry chef in Pakistan with recipes passed down to the next generation.  Cooking came naturally to her and after working in kitchens she enrolled in culinary school and fell in love with chocolates and pastries.  She was also an adjunct faculty member at Triton College for seven years, teaching chocolate and pastry.  While at Triton she opened Chocolat Uzma and it is at her shop, where she can share her love of chocolates with everyone.     http://www.chocolat-uzma.com/

About Improv Comedy Show

IPS member, Michael Greenbaum, MD is part of The Therapy Players Group.  They will bring us an hour of much-needed entertainment.

THE THERAPY PLAYERS
are an ensemble of mental health professionals from the
Chicago area who are also trained improvisers. We performed our first revue, "Players To Be Named Later" at the President's Reception for the 2013 Illinois Psychological Association Convention in Chicago, and we've been at it ever since! We combine fast wit with our understanding of human nature to bring laughter to our shows about this chronically-serious line of work. https://www.therapyplayers.com/
